Ziqitza Healthcare Donates 100 Wheelchairs for patient care

A charitable initiative has been launched to improve the quality of life for individuals with mobility challenges in government hospitals across 23 districts. This initiative aims to provide 100 customized wheelchairs to assist in the mobility of patients within hospital premises and to mitigate the problem of basic essential hospital equipment. 

On the occasion of the ceremony, several dignitaries were present, including Honourable Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, Chairman PHSC Raman Bahl, MD Varinder Kumar Sharma, IAS, Director Dr. Anil Goyal, Deputy Director Dr. Boparai, Deputy Director Dr. Sangeeta, Nodal Officer Vishal Garg, Director Principal Dr. Bhavneet Bharti, Dr. BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, DMC Dr Parvinderpal Kaur, Civil Surgeon Dr Renu, and 108 ambulance Project Head Manish Batra.

The Health Minister, expressing his gratitude and emphasizing the invaluable contribution of Ziqitza Healthcare, said, “I appreciate and thank Ziqitza for their services. Ambulance services play an important role in emergencies and reach the location in the golden hour to provide critical care. I commend Ziqitza for donating 100 wheelchairs. This initiative will greatly benefit hospital staff and patients alike. A wheelchair is one life-saving equipment that aids in transporting patients to hospital emergency services, especially in case of fractures or disabled patients.
