Tasso & ARUP Labs Unite to advance At-Home Blood Testing for Clinical Research

Tasso Inc., the premier provider of patient-focused, clinical-grade blood collection solutions, along with ARUP Laboratories, the largest nonprofit clinical and academic reference lab in the U.S., announced their partnership to create and implement high-quality, at-home blood testing services aimed at supporting clinical research.

Through the testing aspect of the innovative integrated service, ARUP Laboratories delivers the reliable knowledge of over 100 medical directors and provides more than 3,000 laboratory tests and test combinations that are preapproved by the majority of pharmaceutical firms, facilitating easy implementation of the service and efficient clinical research.

To initiate the partnership, ARUP has confirmed the validity of rheumatoid factor (RF), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), creatinine, and high-sensitivity DNA analysis utilizing capillary blood microsamples obtained through Tasso devices. Extra assays and applications will be provided in 2025 and later as validation procedures are finalized. These assessments will be driven by Tasso's comprehensive services platform, which features innovative shipping options and digital solutions for patients to guarantee efficient blood collection and logistics.
