ORDI (Organization for Rare Diseases of India) will hold its annual flagship conference Racefor7" It will be held in 15 cities across India on February 25. The main goal of the 7km marathon is to raise awareness of rare diseases and empower patients and their families along the way by facilitating access to national and international resources.
Racefor7 is an annual event dedicated to World Rare Disease Day. The event, which started in Bangalore in 2016, has spread across the country and is expected to attract over 20,000 people from cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kochi and Pune on February 25 this year . possible Mysuru, Davangere, Hubballi, Asansol, Kozhikode and Coimbatore were built on the concept of One Nation, One Day - Together For Rare.
Bengaluru race starts from Ashok Nagar, St Joseph Indian High School grounds. Directed by popular Kannada film actor Ramesh Aravind, the race will start at 7 am. Those interested can register by visiting the Racefor7 website.
Ramesh Aravind, actor, director and TV host working in Kannada film and television, hosted the event and said, "Every action comes closer to creating awareness and finding cures for patients with rare diseases."
