Plaksha University Assigns Dr. Ravi Jasuja as Indegene Chair for Digital Health

Plaksha University, a new-age university reimagining technology education and research in India through cutting-edge technology programmes, has named Dr. Ravi Jasuja as the Indegene Chair for Digital Health. Plaksha University and Indegene have collaborated to introduce quality education in the health-tech space. Indegene is a digital-first, life sciences commercialization firm that serves 19 of the world's top 20 biopharma organisations, as well as many midsize and emerging biopharma, biotech, and medical device companies.

Dr. Jasuja is also the director of translational research and discovery for the Men's Health research programme at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a world-class academic medical centre in Boston, Massachusetts. On his appointment as Indegene Chair for Digital Health, Dr. Ravi Jasuja said, "I am thrilled to see the transformation Plaksha University aims to bring to the higher education system in India with a purpose of going beyond the traditional boundaries of engineering education and promoting interdisciplinary learning, combining technology, design, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Jasuja is one of the founders at Plaksha and also the co-founder and chief scientific officer of Function Promoting Therapies LLC, XYone Inc. He was trained as a Belfer Fellow, Biophysics/Physiology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Jasuja holds a BTech degree from IIT Delhi and a PhD degree from the University of Hawaii.
