The application of AI in medicine for early diagnoses, and especially cancer prediction, has been acknowledged to be a significant scientific achievement. In India, this technology is being used for the first time in collaboration with prestigious institutions such as MIT, Mayo Clinic, and Netherlands.

According to Dr. Guru N. Reddy, Founder and Chairman of Continental Hospitals, the "Continental Centre for Early Detection of Cancer and Treatment" has been established for the first time in India last year. This year, AI was introduced into imaging to detect breast, lung, and pancreatic cancers at an early stage. It has been highlighted that AI has classified some high-risk cancer patients up to five years before diagnosis, representing a transformative moment in medicine that will help save thousands of lives.
At Continental Hospitals, the radiologists and IT staff have undergone training for technology integration. More than 1500 imaging examinations of cancer done with the help of AI.Prof. Madan Pilutula, Dean of ISB Hyderabad, talked about how fast AI technologies are evolving and becoming a part of medicine.
