CIPACA partners with ImpactGuru.com to offer financial services to patients in rural areas

Emergency healthcare provider CIPACA has entered into a collaboration with ImpactGuru.com to help patients living in rural areas avail of financial services for their treatment, the firm said. Chennai Interventional Pulmonology and Critical Care Associates (CIPACA) said the partnership with healthcare financing platform provider was in line with its mission to provide quality intensive care in the hinterlands of the country. ImpactGuru.com provides healthcare financing solutions through online medical crowdfunding for patients in need to raise funds for their medical treatments.

"While we at CIPACA have been attempting to make ICU care available in remote parts of India, we have been keen on addressing the affordability challenges of rural patients pertaining to their treatments. Thus, we have collaborated with ImpactGuru.com, that aims to make healthcare affordable to all...," CIPACA managing director Dr Raja Amarnath said. On the tie-up with CIPACA, ImpactGuru.com co-founder Piyush Jain said, "the partnership is a stepping stone towards our goal of making healthcare affordable and accessible to the masses whilst we expand our reach to the hinterlands of India."

In another statement, CIPACA said it has entered into collaboration with the United Kingdom-based College of Healthcare Innovations to offer a Masters programme in rural critical care. The Masters in Rural Critical Care programme aims to create rural ICU doctors, who are committed to work in field of rural ICU care, the statement added.
