The Begusarai district administration awarded Glocal Hospital Begusarai for its outstanding performance under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The award was presented to hospital director Kanhaiya Kumar by District Magistrate Roshan Kushwaha and Chief Minister Shamim Ahmad. Rashid Zaman, DIG-Begusarai Range and Yogendra Kumar, Begusarai, were also at the function. Begusarai District Hospital also received an award. Glocal Hospital is the only private hospital to receive an award at this award ceremony.
Glocal Hospital was launched in 2015 and has become a benchmark for affordable and advanced healthcare in Begusarai over the past eight years. The hospital is 100-bed highly specialized in critical care, general medicine, general surgery, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, urology, nephrology, dialysis, dentistry and orthopedic specialists.
The hospital has earned a reputation for its intensive care services, and its survival rate exceeds the average for acute care units in the United States by nearly 90 percent. We have more than 20 doctors, including some renowned experts and specialists. The hospital is at the forefront of providing high-quality medical services to the residents of Begusarai and the neighboring districts of Khagaria, Samastipur, Munger, Lakkisarai and Patna.
The important thing is that international hospitals provide services at less than half the cost of hospitals in major cities and urban areas. The hospital has been serving poor patients covered by Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY for many years, providing comprehensive healthcare services. Third-party surveys have shown that more than 85% of hospital patients are BPL. Begusarai is an industrial city, and many PSUs like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, Oil India, Railways, NTPC, Fertilizer etc., trust Glocal Hospital for their employees' health care.
