Apollo, the world's largest integrated healthcare provider, has announced the expansion of their one-of-a-kind connected care programme, Apollo Connect, across India. With this, Apollo aims to build India's largest connected healthcare ecosystem, enabling hospitals and nursing homes in metros and non-metros to provide holistic and superior patient care.

Apollo Connect has rolled out services such as eICU, diagnostics, surgical consultations, remote monitoring, clinical & quality training, and accreditation support across India to provide significant benefit to this connected care partner network. Apollo Connect aims to strengthen the healthcare ecosystem in India by improving last mile patient access, affordability, and experience by collaborating to build a robust connected care partner network. Dr. Prathap C Reddy, founder and chairman of Apollo, commented on the program's vision, saying, "As care providers, the imperative for us is to collaborate and support each other to ensure no sick person goes untreated due to a lack of access to quality care."

With this commitment, we created the Apollo Connect programme, a collaborative effort to build healthcare by bringing healthcare providers together on a single platform to provide superior care and keep patients closer to home. Dr. Sangita Reddy, joint managing director, Apollo, said, “Since inception, we have been committed to making India healthier by building and providing the best healthcare solutions. Apollo Connect for us is one more step in that direction where we help patients get access to quality healthcare as close to them as possible, including but not limited to emergency care, diagnostics, remote monitoring as well as surgical consults among others. Apollo revolutionized healthcare when Dr Prathap Reddy opened the first hospital in Chennai in 1983. Today Apollo is the world’s largest integrated healthcare platform with over 10,000 beds across 71 hospitals, nearly 6000 pharmacies and over 200 clinics and diagnostic centers as well as 150 telemedicine centers.
