Apollo Clinic Join Hands with Fix Health To Deliver AI-assisted Physiotherapy

Fix Health (formerly YourPhysio), a healthcare firm that specializes in AI-assisted physiotherapy, has teamed with Apollo Clinic. Through this collaboration, the clinic chain is offering professional care from throughout India to patients' homes via in-clinic, at-home, and online treatment. The AI ensures accuracy in tracking an individual's movements.

The technological platform extends access to physiotherapy beyond conventional clinic hours, operating daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Apollo Clinic is also holding regular camps of AI-based posture assessment exams developed by the Fix Health team of engineers from IIT Bombay and BITS Pilani across its societies and clinics. Patients visiting the clinics must merely pose in two positions while an expert captures the patient's posture and movement using a mobile phone and the Fix Health app.

The software then uses AI to automatically assess the patient's postural health state and delivers the information to WhatsApp in less than a minute. Apollo Clinic has already employed Fix Health for posture and ergonomic assessments of corporate desk job workers, with over 25% found to have forward neck posture by 11 degrees, indicating a potential early risk of neck and back discomfort. Apollo Clinic offers physiotherapy services for 250+ conditions and 10+ treatment areas, including back-neck pain, shoulder-knee pain, post-operative rehabilitation, adult & pediatric neurology rehabilitation, and pre & post pregnancy care, through Fix Health's network of 70+ physiotherapists.
