Apollo and Mayapada Healthcare Unite to Boost Indonesia's Healthcare

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mayapada Healthcare Group in Indonesia. The collaboration, as stated by the healthcare leader, is poised to revolutionize the region's healthcare environment by improving medical skills, clinical initiatives, and operational effectiveness.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Minister of Health, Government of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, present, reinforcing the commitment of both organizations to enhance healthcare services in Indonesia and its neighboring areas.

In this partnership, Apollo Hospitals will offer management knowledge and operational support for Mayapada Healthcare’s new hospital in Batam, Indonesia. The arrangement also entails the sharing of clinical expertise and program advancement in specialized areas like oncology, cardiology, neurology, and transplant surgery.

Both entities will utilize cutting-edge technologies such as Tele-Radiology, E-ICU, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives to improve patient care and access. Training courses for physicians and nurses will emphasize evidence-based methods, specialized treatment, and advanced medical procedures. Apollo Hospitals intends to send as many as 1,000 specialists, comprising doctors, nurses, and technicians, to assist Mayapada Healthcare's facilities.

The partnership will additionally enhance online learning for healthcare workers via Apollo’s Medvarsity platform and launch a Double Degree Nursing Program, offering Indonesian healthcare professionals international experience. Furthermore, Mayapada Healthcare and Apollo Hospitals will collaboratively offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and organize international healthcare events to promote professional growth.
