The manufacturing plant for tablets is located at Roorkee whereas the one for nutraceuticals is located in Ahmedabad. The primary motive of the company is to add value to patient health and prevent them as much as possible from lifestyle diseases that are growing by the day. It specializes in manufacturing of bi-layered tablets, controlled release tablets and extended release tablets. We believe in manufacturing combinations of single molecules or as fewer molecules as possible. This is what makes the medicine more effective. Added to this, we also sell our own range of cardio-vascular and anti-diabetic medicines”, stated Nilesh.

Growth Story

The company was started by Nilesh’s elder brother who has acute expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing which is the reason why it was started as only a third party manufacturer. Eventually they gained multiple clients and received the required certifications of regulatory authorities not only in India but also other countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Peru, Philippines and Ukraine. The company currently exports to these countries apart from selling natively and keeps itself updated with all the regulatory guidelines that are prevalent in these regions. Nilesh joined the company in 2009 and took responsibility of the sales and marketing division and the company started diversifying itself to nutraceutical and preventive medicine manufacturing. Currently, Salud Care is acting as a conglomerate with four divisions acting under it.

Looking at the Future

Since its inception in 2006, the company has achieved considerable success and gained significant trust and recognition in the market. Looking ahead, it wants to expand its horizons and look for catering to countries like Panama, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile and also Canada and European countries. “We aim to be present in 100 countries globally in the coming five years. Shortly, we are planning to go for the GCC audit and get the required certifications to export to the GCC countries”, concluded Nilesh.
